Stampyland No black ink no colored images -Merry Christmas

Here I used an inkadoo? stamp and an old fiskars mistletoe stamp with a martha stewart punch and some prima flowers and stickles oh and a gold brad. I was inspired to use a "tile card" method I learned at a stampin up class. Thanks Laura!

Stampyland no black ink Monthly Challenge - Friends

I decided to try and do one a week for the monthly challenge. Oh well, I did three!
I used ink "blending" and sponge stamping to creat the background, and an acrylic embossing paste with an old brass stencil for the word friend. Nestablities for the cut. I guess technically no Stamped image was used but I did only use the colored inks! Happy Stampin Supplies!

Halloween Panda Marci Card!

So, I only have the one LaLa Land Stamp and I needed to "change it up" so, I have this Quick Cutz Panda that I purchased from Scrapyland and thought.... oh she's in costume! How cute! I used paper from my Halloween stash drawer and some mini stamps that I've had for more years than I care to mention. I used a Stampin Up punch for the Happy Halloween sentiment and I got the idea for the torn front card from a youtube stampinup video tutorial. The flowers and brads were also in my stash ( I have collected for years and didn't start labeling until recently.) I hope this inspires you to design it and make it your own!

Card/Candy holder for Stampyland Friday Challage due: 9/28

Hi everyone! I'm new to this! I wanted to show some of the things I've been working on. I named my blog You Design It because we all look around for ideas and inspiration but utimately we design our own. Hopefully when I share what inspired me it will inspire YOU to DESIGN IT.

This was posted specifically for a challange over at STAMPYLAND.COM
There's tons of inspiration from Stampyland Susan and her wonderful design team. For this particular project I used multiple printed papers I had on hand. The back ground bat paper is from Cloud 9, bats in a circle moon is bo-bunny; my square stamps are from Studio G; basic orange card stock; Flowers were hand made using a basic flower cut out from my cricut and using embossing powder and glimmer mist to "age" them; my adorable trick or treater is a stamp I got from  SCRAPYLAND.COM it's Capri Marci from the La La Land stamp collection. I also embossed her hair (just for a different effect) and copics for the rest of her. Her mask is a Bzz original (I winged it). The pumkin brad and various stickers and embishments were in my Halloween stash mix. The inspiration for the card/candy holder came from Christina1716's youtube channel. Her original idea is for a votive candle holder but I adjusted it slightly to be candy holder!
